Newstalk ZB Christchurch is on the hunt for a sharp, driven producer to lead our Canterbury Mornings show — the region’s only dedicated talkback programme. This is your chance to be at the heart of our newsroom, driving the day’s agenda and creating compelling radio that keeps listeners hooked.This role is far more than simply booking interviews. You’ll be:Setting the news tone for the day, reacting in real-time to breaking stories.Crafting talkback that challenges, informs, and entertains.Delivering content that’s so riveting, listeners will be late to their appointments.We’re Looking For Someone WhoHas a strong grasp of current affairs, both local and global.Can think fast, act faster, and adapt to the unpredictable nature of live radio.Brings fresh ideas, thrives under pressure, and isn’t afraid to back their editorial instincts.Is collaborative, coachable, and keen to grow.In return, you’ll join a supportive, high-performing team that values creativity and initiative.
