Lead Product Designer

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Your future teamWe are looking for a Lead Designer to be a key pillar in the Growth Design team. In this role, you will report into the Head of Design, Onboarding, Cross-Flow and join an organization consisting of multiple teams across North America and Australia. As a high level individual contributor, you'll lead strategic growth design work all aiming to deliver a better time to value for our customers. You will partner with other Growth designers and multiple design teams across the company. Together, you will create high quality experiences that feel like they came from one set of hands and communicate a strong point of view. Leading this space means you will focus on expanding our over 250,000 customer base in 190 countries, having direct impact for tens of thousands of customers and millions of users!ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Partner with leadership, stakeholders, cross-functional teams to create improvements to ‘AI First’ experiences for Cross-Flow to our primary Apps and Team Work Collection (Rovo, Jira, Confluence & Loom).Design and create prototypes using AI tooling and Motion Design.Demonstrate excellence in using experimentation and data-driven design decision-makingAdvocate the importance of designing for growth across the businessWork with product managers, engineering and other partners to define the wider Growth strategyHelp others to improve craft quality across the Growth team through mentoring.Bring the perspective and needs of Growth design to larger design strategic projectsContribute to programs outside of Growth design which improve overall design capabilityCollaborate with some of the industry's smartest (and nicest) people. You'll work with fellow Designers as well as Engineers, Product Managers, Content Designers, Data Scientists, Researchers, Marketing Experts, and Analysts to advocate for the user experience in our products and ship high-quality work.QualificationsYour background:8+ years of product design experience designing complex or enterprise-level softwareExperience in end-to-end UX/product design to design impactful solutions to challenging problemsPassion for story-telling, the ability to bring design direction to life with compelling narrativeExperience balancing customer needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibilityFacilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: you can demonstrate the ability to integrate the work of multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions that lead company wide outcomesExperience in design systems, the ability to identify common components required to support a wide array of customer use cases.Experience measuring success with qualitative and quantitative methodsExperience improving process and methodology to increase productBenefits & PerksAtlassian offers a wide range of perks and benefits designed to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
