A great opportunity to champion inclusive, collaborative design.Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity It's an incredibly exciting time for AT and we have some important work to do to improve the experiences of our customers, communities, and our people now and into the future.As a Human-Centred Designer you'll be a part of a team whose purpose is to co-create great experiences that make a meaningful difference to Aucklanders who work, live, and play in Tāmaki Makaurau. You'll be part of a team designing optimal customer and service experiences that impact Aucklanders and visitors to our city every day, outcomes which you may have experienced as you travel about Tāmaki Makaurau.Ko koe tēnei | About you - What are we looking for? 5+ years in design thinking, service design, experience design and/or qualitative research. Solid grasp of design frameworks and the ability to design suitable customer-centric approaches. Confident articulating and measuring the value of human-centred design. Strong group facilitation experience - designing and leading sprints and workshops that focus on delivering outcomes. Data analysis and interpretation (inc. AI analysis) driving actionable insights and recommendations Collaborative, empathetic and curious - a strong desire to work with other people and deeply understand a problem space Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment. Coaching others on the benefits and practice of Human-Centred Design. Tertiary qualification. This could be in a relevant field (though not necessarily). Previous experience working with Māori and Pasifika communities and knowledge of and application in design to Tikanga and Te Ao Māori.
