Job Title: Pega Architect Location: Auckland / Wellington, New Zealand Employment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Pega Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable Pega-based business process management solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Pega PRPC, strong technical leadership skills, and experience working across complex enterprise environments.This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to deliver efficient, reliable, and high-performing Pega applications that align with enterprise architecture standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery of Pega solutions.Define solution architecture, application framework, and reusable components.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into Pega workflows and case designs.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Pega development team.Ensure Pega applications integrate seamlessly with external systems via APIs (REST/SOAP) and data sources.Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery.Implement Pega best practices for rule design, decisioning, and process automation.Stay current with the latest Pega platform enhancements and apply them in solution design.Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.Experience: 8+ years in Pega development, with at least 3–5 years in an architect or technical lead role.Core Expertise:Pega PRPC 7.x / 8.x architecture and configurationCase Management, Decisioning, and Process AutomationIntegration with REST/SOAP services, external systems, and databasesPega Rules, Activities, Data Pages, Flows, and UI designTechnical Skills:Java / JavaScript / SQLBPM concepts and workflow designSDLC and Agile methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
