In this role you will get to inspect various facets of work on the jobsite and performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.What You'll Be DoingDemolition of transportation facilities (roads, streets, bridges etc.)Construction of roads, bridges, and other associated improvements (curb and gutter, street, sidewalk, landscaping)Drainage work, traffic control, compliance with SWPPP requirementsInstallation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering and street lightingIrrigation and planting, roadway and overhead sign removal and installation.Installation on temporary and permanent signs and delineationInstallation of mechanical equipmentBuilding and facility construction and associated site developmentTaking project photographs on a daily basis and filing themWhat Required Skills You'll BringAssociate's Degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience5+ years of related experience on field projects, as well as formal certification from an independent organization, depending on type of inspection assignment.Knowledge of public works contracts may be preferred.
