Summary of PositionAarcalev is looking for a Google Cloud Administrator responsible formanaging and optimizing the company’s cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This position is for one of our clients In a fintech environment/. Selected candidate will be responsible for complete administration of Google Cloud, ensures that financial applications, payment systems, and data analytics pipelines run securely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.Key Responsibilities Include: • Manage and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure (Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).• Configure and monitor networking components (VPCs, firewalls, load balancers) for secure connectivity.• Implement and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies for users and services.• Ensure data security and compliance with fintech regulations.• Monitor system performance using Cloud Monitoring and Logging tools.• Optimize resource utilization and cloud costs while maintaining high performance.• Automate deployments and scaling with Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab).• Support mission-critical fintech applications such as payment gateways, trading platforms, and fraud detection systems.• Provide disaster recovery and backup solutions tailored to financial data.• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and compliance teams to support AI/ML workloads.• Maintain documentation of cloud architecture, policies, and procedures.• Deliver reports on system performance, security posture, and compliance status.• Train and support internal teams in the best practices for GCP usage.To be successful in this role you must display the following skills /qualities:• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs).• Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security best practices.• Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab, Cloud Build).• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible).• Competence in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Stackdriver).• Understanding of database management (Cloud SQL, Firestore, BigQuery).• Skills in disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability design.• Ability to support AI/ML workloads and data analytics pipelines.Mandatory Requirements:• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.• Google Cloud Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).• Cloud Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.• DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible).• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and system management.• Monitoring & Optimization: Familiarity with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Stack driver for performance tracking and cost optimization.• Database Management: Knowledge of Cloud SQL, Firestore, and BigQuery for handling financial data securely.• Disaster Recovery: Experience designing and implementing backup and recovery strategies for mission-critical fintech applications.• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with developers, data scientists, and compliance teams to support fintech workloads.Education / Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.• 3–5 years of experience in Google cloud administration or system administration roles.• Experience in DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab, Cloud Build).• Experience in security and compliance management, especially within regulated industries like fintech.Required Languages:Fluent (English - Arabic) – Located in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia
