Dentsu Creative is an agency of dentsu.As an Art Director, you’ll collaborate with creative, client services, and project management teams to develop innovative, inclusive solutions across multiple media channels. You’ll bring ideas to life from concept through execution, ensuring every design reflects diverse perspectives and resonates with a wide range of audiences.The purpose of this role is to generate ideas, executions and consider all look-and-feel in solving creative briefs. They are knowledgeable of integrated creative and experienced solutions, with focus, commitment and an ever-increasing knowledge of all things’ art and design. You will have the ability to think in a holistic way about how an idea visually comes to life through all creative channels of a consumer experience.You will bring life to creative ideation all the way to execution with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the forefront for dentsu and clients.Key responsibilities:Executes creative concepts together with copy partner at the direction of the creative directorIdentifies creative thinking towards big ideasVisualizes concepts and interprets them into art/designEnsures the brand tone and position is exemplified within the creative productDelivers exceptional and innovative results while ensuring the creative product meets strategic goals and client expectationsOrganizes, prioritizes and manages multiple projects and teams in a deadline-driven environmentExpresses ideas with clarity; on brand; on message and targeted to audiencePresents ideas to both the wider internal team and, occasionally, externally to clients with structure and parityComprehends and understands brand continuity, brand guidelines and brand positioningAbility to create layouts/mock-ups at a high qualityFamiliarity with graphic design principles and UI design is a bonusContributes work to pitchesProactively identifies opportunities for creative work to be performed for clients, with guidance from seniors and directorsExecutes creative concepts together with Copywriter at the direction of the Associate Creative Director. Qualifications4+ years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experienceStrong conceptual ability and experience creating campaigns that reflect cultural awareness and inclusivityProficiency in Adobe CC, InDesign, Figma, and PhotoshopAbility to translate creativity and passion for ideas into strategic, accessible solutionsStrong communication skills and confidence presenting to diverse groupsCollaborative mindset and openness to different perspectives. Experience in automotive or related industries is considered an advantage, but not requiredAdditional InformationAdditional information: The salary range for this position is $60k-$70k Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
