This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic organisation shaping the future of the UK rental market.The RoleThis position offers the chance to oversee and optimise a diverse portfolio of residential assets, contributing to both operational performance and long-term value creation. The role spans financial analysis, reporting, sustainability initiatives and active involvement in the strategic asset management process.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the day-to-day asset management of operational and development portfolios, analysing performance against business plans and recommending value-enhancing actions.Prepare internal and external reports for senior management and investors, including performance metrics and financial commentary.Lead and support sustainability initiatives, including ESG objectives and industry accreditation submissions (e.g., GRESB, BREEAM).Manage the annual budgeting process, monitor variances, and identify risks and opportunities in collaboration with internal teams and property managers.Oversee third-party supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring KPIs and ensuring service standards are met.Assist with the management of a small standalone commercial portfolio.Keep abreast of market trends, providing insight and recommendations to enhance portfolio performance.Key RequirementsDegree-level education, ideally with a relevant postgraduate qualification.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data and analytical functions.Experience preparing and presenting financial reports.Good understanding of real estate investment principles and relevant legislation.Highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.Confident communicator with a proactive, collaborative approach.Experience in investment modelling is advantageous.Perks & BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-related bonus.Opportunity to work within a market-leading, high-growth real estate platform.Professional development and progression opportunities within a rapidly scaling organisation.Collaborative, expert team environment where innovation is encouraged.
