Be a part of it, let’s get something started!About The RoleCampbelltown City Council is a rapidly expanding area due to its population growth, new developments, and strategic location near the new Western Sydney Airport. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Asset Management Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for asset program development and planning, particuarly preparing the annual and long term capital works maintenance and operational programs and planning Annual Asset Renewal Programs. You will undertake performance monitoring, including performing condition and defect inspections, program preparation and cost estimation. You will also work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to underake asset capitalisation.The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:Relevant industry experience in asset managementDemonstrated experience in applying asset management principles and practices including undertaking asset condition assessmentsDemonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of Asset Management PlansHighly developed interpersonal and negotiating skills with ability to communicate and work collaboratively with different stakeholders including professionals, industry, community, agencies and government groups.Working knowledge of, and demonstrated commitment to, Work Health & Safety.Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Engineering or Project Management or relevant discipline will be highly regardedCommitment to living our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, trust and optimism.
