This role emphasizes both individual and group training sessions, fostering player growth, improving technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall performance.The Assistant Coach will oversee all aspects of planning, development, and performance for the team. The incumbent will conduct training, prepare for matches, and coach on game days. Collaborating with the Head Coach and other Assistant Coaches will implement a strategy aligned with club goals and create a team identity. Assistant Coach will also help manage the roster, contribute to talent identification, and evaluate performance. The Assistant Coach must have a commitment to supporting player development, preparing scouting reports, attending meetings, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.Responsibilities Include The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in managing all on-field elements for the UT Royals FC. Collaborating closely with the head coach to develop & design a strategic curriculum and year plan that aligns with the clubs and the Team’s Reference Framework, DNA, playing style, overarching principles and areas of emphasis and profiles. Plan and conduct group training sessions Assist in the planning and execution of team training sessions, ensuring alignment with the Head Coach's overall strategy. Ensure training programs align with the overall playing philosophy and strategies of the women’s team. Utilize video analysis and other technological tools to support training/developmental objectives and provide visual feedback to players. Assist in the preparation of match strategies. Analyze match performances Translate playing style principles into a program and training sessions, creating a clear framework for on-field implementation. Offer real-time guidance during matches, adjusting tactics, formation, and strategies based on the flow of the game and opponent's tactics. Utilizing match data and video analysis to evaluate team and player performances, identifying areas for improvement and refining strategies accordingly. Collaborate closely with the video performance analyst to integrate performance insights into training sessions and game strategies. Maintain regular communication with the Head Coach, other assistant coaches, medical staff, and management regarding player development and fitness levels. Participate in coaching meetings to discuss training plans, player progress, and other relevant issues.Minimum Qualifications Professional qualifications of USSF A license (or equivalent from approved federation) Proven experience in coaching, particularly in player development roles. Experience with professional or semi-professional football teams Strong understanding of football tactics, techniques, and conditioning and translate to training sessions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze player performance data and translate it into actionable coaching strategies. Proficient using video analysis software and other technological tools. Strong leadership and motivational skills.Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related fieldPhysical Demands And Work EnvironmentThe job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 5 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 10 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions.
