Showcasing a curated collection of original contemporary artworks from emerging and mid-career artists, the gallery breaks tradition with the white-box gallery format. Our Sydney gallery shows regular exhibitions to foster our artists' growth and engage audiences, and our Art Consultancy service for residential, commercial, hotel and public art clients creates a lasting connection between artists and individual collectors, interior designers, architects and organisations. We are looking for an energetic, art market-savvy and collaborative Assistant Curator to join our dynamic Art Consultancy team. This position reports to the Gallery Director and Senior Curator and is responsible for helping to bring our Art Consultancy projects to life, from start to finish. Building relationships will come naturally to you, through connecting with artists and clients as well as collaborating with our team to create magic. KEY Responsibilities: Curation of Art Consultancy projects—from initial proposal stage through to final curationProject management of assigned Art Consultancy projects including artwork commissions, fabrication + installation, ensuring that all deadlines + budgets are metContribute to, write + develop proposals, EOIs, grants, art strategies + business opportunity outreachCreate presentation documents to present to clients, including renders where requiredWrite + review project write-ups, maintenance manuals + artist statementsProven time management skills + the ability to prioritise workloads in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent written + verbal communication + high level of responsiveness Maintain accurate project files, including budgets, timelines + correspondenceProvide regular progress reports to curatorial team, clients + project stakeholders Requirements + Additional Skills2+ years in the curatorial space within the fine arts or public art sectorOutstanding written + verbal communication skills, with a flair for relationship managementPassion for supporting artistsA creative eye + a high-end aestheticKnowledge of current art markets + broad knowledge of Australian artistsAbility to think outside the box, aligning with Curatorial+Co.’s brand Extreme attention to detail with a passion for perfection  Highly desirableBachelor degree in the arts or arts managementProficiency in Microsoft Office, Project Management Software, CRM systems + Adobe Suite The detailsLocation: William St Woolloomooloo, SydneyFull time position (Mon-Fri, plus evening exhibition openings + events)Remuneration will be based on the right candidate’s experience Please provide your resume (including a cover letter telling us about yourself) + three referees.(Applications will not be accepted without a cover letter.) or apply seek.com.au/job/88851256
