Job Description

Role PurposeThe Assistant Lease Administration Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the full lease lifecycle, from execution to renewal, ensuring all lease agreements are processed accurately and efficiently. The role ensures compliance with company policies, timely documentation, and proactive follow-up with landlords to maintain optimal lease management operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess lease signings in alignment with organizational objectives and established timelines.Monitor and track the status of lease signing pipelines and forecasted signings on a monthly basis.Track critical dates such as renewal options, kickouts, rights to terminate, and expirations for existing stores, while maintaining accurate reports and weekly updates.Recommend and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to continuously improve the efficiency of lease administration services.Ensure company policies and lease management standards are fully implemented, met, and maintained.Closely monitor and provide updates on plans for securing new site openings (NSOs) and ensuring timely activation of related leases.Draft and/or review lease amendments, renewals, and termination agreements for existing properties.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Law, or a related field is desirable.Experience:3–5 years of experience in lease administration, preferably within a retail chain or shopping center environment.Strong understanding of legal lease terms, conditions, and language.Experience in business process re-engineering and/or real estate system implementation projects.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills.Core CompetenciesExcellent attention to detail and compliance standards.Skilled in interpreting complex retail lease language.Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with minimal supervision.
