Assistant Manager - Enginering Projects

We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Manager with an engineering background, preferably with experience in the Automotive Industry, to be able to provide technical support and ongoing maintenance of agreed products.ResponsibilitiesMechanical / Engineering designs using solid works professional or CATIA V5Design and quality control the manufacture of tooling and mechanical test fixtures Design and implement cost effective equipment modifications to improve safety and reliabilityDevelop, design, test and evaluate project specifications and outline designs - mechanical parts and final productsResolve complex problems with sub – contractors, suppliers, and customersManage projects using engineering principles and techniques - budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managersPrepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customersSecure and renew orders and arrange deliveryDesigning, developing, and enhancing electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices.Creating automated systems and the software to control them.Conducting research, documenting findings, and presenting reports at meetings.Identifying areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and making recommendations for improvement.Understanding problems or client briefs and developing solutions that satisfy them.RequirementsMatricBTec/BSC degree – Mechatronics EngineeringTechnical and aftersales support on robots.2+ years prior experience years in manufacturing and design field – AutomotiveMechanical Design, Robotics and PLC programming with SolidWorks or CATIA V5
