We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager – Investment Funds (Operations) who will be responsible for overseeing daily investment fund operations, ensuring control over capital contribution calls, and providing regular reporting for our client based in Dubai, which is one of the largest companies in the region.This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 Months and is renewable The role sits within the Finance Department and reports directly to the Director of Finance. Key responsibilities: Validate and review capital contribution calls.Manage internal and external inquiries related to investment fund operations.Maintain daily operational controls and ensure accurate matching and settlement of capital calls and contributions.Oversee compliance with settlement processes and timelines.Address and resolve issues related to investment funds in a timely manner.Monitor cash movements and positions.Handle corporate actions efficiently.Reconcile transactions with counterparties accurately.Prepare and submit regular reports.Conduct due diligence on target investment funds and related investments.Address audit queries effectively.Ensure compliance with KYC and AML regulations.Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.Knowledge, skills & experience:Education: University graduate, preferably with an accounting background.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in investment fund operations.Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Experience working on Kyriba TMS.Experience with treasury or portfolio management systems is a plus.Availability:Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or within 30 days of accepting the offer.We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in the United Arab Emirates.
