OverviewProviding uninterrupted utilities to the plantEnsuring that the plant machinery is in good running condition with minimum breakdowns and optimum cost of maintenance.Track VMOH (Power , Fuel and Water ) on daily basis and ensure zero outage against AOP.Comply with KCs of UtilityResponsibilitiesEnsuring the implementation of the maintenance system designed by the engineering manager to minimize downtime and costs of maintenanceEnsuring 100% uptime for plant utilitiesEnsuring that the engineering stores carries the optimum amount of inventory at all times for smooth running of utilities by issuing timely indentsSubstituting the defective spare parts in the packaging area with indigenously developed spare parts in order to achieve cost optimizationAssisting the engineering manager in phase-put of obsolete machinery and purchase plans for new technologyParticipating in various SGA activities to understand the functioning of the various plant systemsSupporting the manager in implementing and maintaining an adaptive culture in the plantEnsure Minimum stock level of LPG and HSD in Plant.Support Engineering Manager in Asset Verification Activity.Ensure Equipment, People and Food Safety in utility area as per Pepsico Guidelines.People :Coaching and developing the team of electricians and fitters to achieve a committed and high performing maintenance teamPracticing and communicating forward a quality and hygiene focused culture in the plantBuild TPM Culture in Utility.Implementing action plansUnderstanding, supporting and resolving problems of other team membersDeveloping and maintaining service orientation in the departmentParticipating actively in team meetings to analyse short falls, problems, concern areas with others and developing action plansJob Dimensions - (what is the scope of the role - volume, number of customers, number of sites, lines etc)Production volume of Channo plant to the tune of 50000 MT / annumNo of customers: More Than 20 OEM and CustomerNo of sites: One (8 Production lines)Exposure in handling of Boilers, ETP, Compressed Air system, Nitrogen plant, HT/LT systems, Captive Power generation.Contributing towards effectiveness of own department:Implementing action plansUnderstanding, supporting and resolving problems of other team membersDeveloping and maintaining service orientation in the departmentProviding inputs to the manager in developing the AOP.Learning continuously and upgrading own abilities :Seeking feedback from team members and seniorsReflecting on own competencies and possible gapsSetting learning goalsMonitoring implementation of these goalsContinuously updating knowledge from external environmentQualificationsEducation: B. Tech. -Electrical (Preferably)/ Electronics/ Electronics and InstrumentationFunctional Experience: Approx. 3-8 years of experience of handling UtilitiesLanguage: English, Hindi, Local language preferredGood communication skillsFocus for driving results
