Job Description

Overall responsible for report and control the financial performance and compliance of Profit Centre that cover Africa plantations and distribution businesses in Europe, US and Malaysia.Responsibilities:Key person responsible for coordinating with local Finance heads and aligning subsidiaries with the Group's directions.Perform critical and in-depth analyses of the Profit Centre's operational performance, cost control, working capital, asset and cash flow management.Review the monthly closings and reports from subsidiaries to ensure compliance with Group reporting requirements.Prepare consolidated accounts of a sub-Group, including foreign currency translation and accounting for non-controlling interests.Provide valuable financial and non-financial insights and recommendations to drive financial excellence.Lead Group audit procedures, including impairment assessments (SFRS 36) and biological assets valuations (SFRS 41).Collaborate with subsidiaries on budgeting process and KPI monitoringControl and mitigate key risks including risk of material misstatement in financial reporting as well as any other risks that threaten the value protection and creation.Ensure strict adherence to Group financial control policies / guidelines.Any other ad-hoc matters assigned.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance/accountancy/Banking, ACCA or equivalent.CPA / CIMA candidates are encouraged to apply.3-5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing, commodities or agriculture industries.Proficient bilingual written and verbal communication skills as one needs to manage our English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders. Able to communication in French will be an advantage as we do require to work with Africa stakeholders.Good business partnering mindset and strategic insightsExperienced with complex group business structure and financial model.Capable to drive business processes and control.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Strong knowledge in accounting, costing, taxation and internal control.High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.Influencing skills and cross-functional collaboration. Experience in partnering with Executive team is expected.Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department/company harmony.Open to overseas travels.
