Assistant Manager, FP&A Divisional Engineering Finance

Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, FP&A to join our Central Engineering Finance – FP&A team. This role will support the FP&A Manager in delivering core financial planning and analysis activities across the broader Engineering organization, including forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic business support. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving financial insights in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.The role will include but not limited to the following:Assist in the preparation and coordination of forecasting, annual planning, and performance reporting processes.Support the financial operating rhythm, including month-end close activities, variance analysis, and reporting packages.Conduct financial modelling and analysis to track business performance and outcomes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance business partners, Controllers, and CIO Finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.Contribute to business analysis and insight generation, helping identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance forecasting and reporting efficiency.Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required.Support any other finance projectsPreferred Skills And Experience4–6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business finance, or financial analysis roles.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems and ERPs.Solid understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data sets.Effective communication skills with the ability to work across global teams and time zones.Experience in a matrixed, global organization preferred.Exposure to technology or product-driven environments is a plus.Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA Finance) preferred but not mandatory.Power BI experience preferred.Time-zone overlap with global stakeholders and counterparts, as warranted.Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
