Assistant Manager / Manager - Production & Process

Responsibilities[Responsible for overseeing the Production & Process of the grinding unit, ensuring efficient production, quality control, safety compliance, and effective management of resources.Job responsibilities1.     Achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.2.     Oversee the day-to-day operations of the grinding unit, grinding process, and quality.3.     Implement efficient production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and minimizing downtime.4.     Identify opportunities for improving productivity, cost optimization and efficiency5.     Drive initiatives to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.6.     Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications throughout the production process. Implement quality control measures to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to continuously improve product quality and consistency.7.     Implement corrective actions to address safety concerns and promote a safe working environment.8.     Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production and process team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.9.     Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.10. Identify training needs and facilitate skill development initiatives for the team members.Be specific when describing each of the responsibilities. Use gender-neutral, inclusive language.]Example: Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usabilityQualifications1.     Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.2.     5-7 years’ experience in cement manufacturing, within a grinding unit.3.     Strong technical knowledge of cement grinding processes, equipment, process control and quality compliance.4.     Proven track record of achieving production targets and driving process improvements5.     Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.6.     Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels[Some qualifications you may want to include are Skills, Education, Experience, or Certifications.]Example: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSalary : CTC 10-12 lakh per annum.
