Job Description

JOB PURPOSE : The Human Resources Assistant Manager/Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the HR department. This includes handling payroll and personal claims management, compensation and benefits, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, training and development, HRMS system administration, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.ACCOUNTABILITIESOversee end-to-end payroll and claims administration to ensure it is effectively and efficiently processed in compliance with all Government regulations and statutory requirements for Company and its group of companies.Assist SGM, Group HRA to plan, develop, implement and administer the compensation and benefit packages in accordance with the established policies.Responsible for employee’s insurance management including Group Personal Accident (GPA), Group Hospitalization & Surgical (GHS), Group Term Life (GTL), and outpatient medical.Oversee the recruitment process to ensure timely hiring, employee onboarding program, and that job descriptions are relevant and updated.Assist SGM, Group HRA in the annual performance review process, including compiling appraisal data for salary increments and bonuses.Identify training needs, develop training plans, and source programs for employee development.Assist in handling employee relations matters, investigations, inquiry, and resolution of workplace issues.Manage initiatives for employee engagement activities and programs.Provide HR and statistical reports for management reporting, statutory requirements and other Company requirements.Oversee and ensure that HRMS systems are accurately updated and well-maintained.Maintain, review and update HR policies and procedures.Supervise and mentor HR team to ensure effective department operations.Any other reasonable assigned duties from time to time.JOB SPECIFICATIONQualificationBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a management role.KnowledgeStrong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.SkillExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.Note: Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
