Come be a part of shaping the future together with us.Purpose & Overall Relevance For The OrganizationThis role is to support the development of the Partner Program (marketplace business model), a sales channel for our Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) business in Europe. The Assistant Manager Platform Trading will be instrumental in driving the growth of our live partner businesses, a portfolio of online Multi-channel accounts, eCom pure players and marketplaces.This role requires expertise in account management in the sporting goods industry, knowledge of eCommerce and a solid merchandising and commercial foundation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport & manage the digital development of the defined Partner Program account’s web shops across Europe, seeking to optimize our brand representation, consumer experience & ultimately growing net sales & market share.Executing the Partner Program platform proposition in Europe for respective accounts including ranging strategy, forecasting consolidation, reporting and active in-season trading.Represent assigned accounts internally towards all functions, ensuring aligned and effective collaboration across the end-to-end Platform Trading process.Stay informed on the consumer, category, channel, and competitor landscape across European retail and eCom.Support wider channel on performance management & reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include:Drive in-season management and day to day operations of all live accounts under your responsibility including ranging, discount and pricing decisions.Collaborate with Wholesale teams to execute x-channel integrated strategy for defined accounts.Drive awareness and understanding of Partner Program proposition amongst key internal business stakeholders.Support business planning and financial forecasting process for live Partner Program accounts under your responsibility.Identify and chase growth opportunities with partners.Initiate, manage & plan marketing campaigns with partners for optimal brand & product visibility. Pro-actively manage all business KPIs linked to Digital partner performance, range & inventory management, e.g. Availability rate, Demand, Net sales, Operating Profit, Traffic & Conversion. Partner closely with Platform Operations, Product Launch & optimization and Business Development teams to facilitate seamless end-to-end execution of assortment activation and marketplace readiness.Key RelationshipsPartner Program Business Development, Business Analytics and Platform Experience teamsEurope Buying, Assortment Planning & Trading teamsEurope Excess Inventory ManagementEurope eCom Pricing & Promotions teamsEurope Wholesale & eCom Finance teamsGlobal & Market Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) teamsMarketplace team and business/technical teams of partner accountsEurope Supply Chain Management team, IT, Finance and Legal teamsKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAbility to manage accounts effectively and prioritize tasks under pressure.Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.Ability to identify business opportunities and translate them into actionable plans that drive measurable results.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present and map complex business solutions and processes.Self-motivated and passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving business processes, and solving problems. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet analyses. Excellent PowerPoint skills coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.Able to participate and confidently provide quantitative and qualitative input in business reviews.Highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to work in deadline driven environment.Comfortable working in an international environment.Fluency in English is required.Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum QualificationsBA / BS in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field Minimum 2 years professional experience (demonstrated experience in eCom or Digital commerce) alongside account management, business development or finance is a key requirement.Experience with performance management / KPI tracking is a must.adidas celebrates diversity, supports inclusiveness and encourages individual expression in our workplace.
