Advanced MedTech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings.The Supply Chain Manager (Sales & Operations Planning) is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of materials flow from suppliers to customers. This role oversees logistics and warehouse operations, manages demand and supply planning processes, and ensures alignment between forecast, production, and inventory availability.The incumbent plays a critical role in driving the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to achieve balanced supply and demand, optimize inventory levels, and support business growth objectives across all Strategic Business Units (SBUs). This position also drives continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency, supplier reliability, and service levels across global and regional operations.Job ResponsibilitiesSales & Operations Planning (S&OP)Lead the S&OP cycle, consolidating demand forecasts and actual orders from all Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to provide clear visibility of global demand.Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Production teams to align demand plans with manufacturing capacity and supply constraints.Analyze demand trends and variances to support effective decision-making by management.Facilitate monthly S&OP review meetings, providing insights and scenario planning for business continuity and service-level optimization.2. Supply Chain Operations ManagementOversee daily supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, shipment coordination, and inventory replenishment.Drive process alignment across inbound and outbound logistics, including supplier shipments, warehousing, and distribution.Ensure compliance with trade, customs, and quality requirements for medical devices in collaboration with Regulatory and Trade Compliance teams.3. Inventory Planning and ControlPlan, monitor, and optimize inventory levels and lead times to balance customer service levels with working capital efficiency.Establish safety stock parameters and manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory through proactive review and action plans.Utilize demand and supply analytics to improve forecast accuracy and minimize stockouts or overstocking.Partner with Finance and Operations to manage inventory provisions and accuracy in reporting.4. Supplier Order ManagementManage purchase orders with all suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory and smooth production flow.Track supplier performance against lead time, quality, and delivery KPIs; implement improvement actions where necessary.Follow up on shipment documentation and ensure proper coordination with customs brokers and freight partners.Investigate and resolve supplier-related discrepancies, including quantity, quality, or documentation variances.5. Reporting, KPI Tracking & Continuous ImprovementDevelop and publish Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards covering forecast accuracy, inventory turns, order fulfillment, supplier performance, and logistics efficiency.Analyze operational data to identify process gaps and recommend corrective or preventive actions.Lead initiatives to improve supply chain visibility, digitization, and efficiency through process redesign or system enhancements (e.g., ERP/MRP improvements).Partner with IT and Finance to enhance reporting accuracy and automation.Key Attributes:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in supply chain management, logistics, or S&OP roles, preferably in the medical device, healthcare, or manufacturing industry.Proven experience managing cross-functional S&OP processes across multiple business units or product lines.Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, demand planning, and supplier coordination.Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems (e.g., Infor CloudSuite CSI Syteline).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Experience leading small operational teams and building collaboration across functions.
