Job Description

ResponsibilitiesLiaise with Export Sales in-charge and Country appointed distributors; Check credit limit respective distributors before arrangement of shipment; Arranging shipments from Singapore and/or Japan, Indonesia to destination countries; make sure goods and shipments meet the required scheduleCheck Distributors’ PO and advise distributors on stock status; Generate Sales Order, Proforma Invoice, Delivery Order, Collection Orders and Invoice in SAPPrepare shipping documents: Invoice, Packing List, relevant certification documents; Check draft Bill of Lading, insurance certificate, export permit, AJCO and other export documents for customs clearance. Submit documents to bank for CAD/ LC paymentsLiaise Internal and External warehouses for stock release; container calculation and stuffing arrangement; Coordinate with appointed freight forwarder for shipment booking, fumigation and cargo inspectionCheck and verify forwarder’s invoice for submission to Finance for payment; Establish and maintain an efficient documentation filing system.Involve in weekly operations / export meeting for sales & budget updatesInvolve in twice yearly Stock Take Exercise and yearly ISO auditsPerform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by immediate superior; Backup team member during their absenceQualificationsMinimum Diploma in Logistics (Warehouse Management) or equivalent.Minimum 3 years’ related experience in logistics or supply chain managementExperience in import and export documentation; Knowledgeable in all customs clearance process; LC/ CAD documentationProficient in Microsoft office applications.Familiar with SAP Business One.Able to handle multiple tasks and job responsibilities and is pro-active; Team playerAble to work with minimum supervision and under tight schedule.Good communication and interpersonal skillsOffice Location : SciMed (Asia) Pte Ltd, 196 Pandan Loop, #07-11 ,Pantech Business Hub ,Singapore 128384
