With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward.The Assistant Manager, Vendor Operations will be responsible for managing end-to-end vendor operations, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, driving process compliance, and maintaining seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners. This role requires strong operational oversight, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead vendor discussions, review performance, and ensure continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Vendor Management & CoordinationAct as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related communication and coordination.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with procurement, finance, legal and customer support operations team.Vendor portfolio assessment and evaluation of contractual provisions, push for competitiveness and cost optimization along with central Procurement Team.Close coordination with Vendors & Internal stakeholders to process / keep track of contracts along with payments processing.Audit & ComplianceConduct periodic operational audits of vendor processes, documentation, and performance.Maintain updated vendor records, audits logs, and compliance trackers.Drive corrective action plans in alignment with the operations team and ensure timely closure of observations.Support any operational documentation requirements as needed like creating/checking of SOP’s, Pre-read contractual & audit related documents to share findings with internal team/leader.Performance Monitoring & ReportingIdentify gaps, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.Present insights and recommendations during internal and vendor review calls.Conduct data cleaning, validation, and hygiene activities related to software licenses used across teams in collaboration with IT teams to ensure license accuracy, compliance, and optimized utilization.Call Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementLead regular vendor governance calls—agenda setting, minutes, and action tracking.Lead and guide internal team members who serve as primary SPOCs for CRM/Dialer tools and act as an escalation point to ensure faster issue resolution and improved system performance.Drive performance review meetings, escalation calls, and issue-resolution discussions.Ensure timely follow-ups on pending actions and provide clear communication to stakeholders.Process ImprovementReview existing vendor workflows and propose enhancements to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.Support new vendor onboarding processes including documentation, compliance checks, and orientation.Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure vendor teams are trained on updates.Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS) and develop documentation for the same to boost reporting efficiency and consistency.What you'll need:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.3–6 years of experience in vendor management, operations, or coordination roles.Strong understanding of audits, compliance processes, and documentation standards.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.Ability to lead calls, drive accountability, and manage multiple vendors simultaneously.Proficient in MS Excel, reporting tools, and basic data analysis.Strong problem-solving approach with an eye for detail and process discipline.Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight timelinesWho will excel?We’re looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters.You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action.
