Director - Director - Category & Brand Head - MangoReports - Vice President - Retail & Omnichannel Business We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Director of Brand to Lead and InternationalLuxury brand portfolio (Women and Men,). This is a highly strategic, P&L accountable rolerequiring a leader with a strong offline retail background to drive the brand growth andprofitability across all channels. The Director will hold end-to-end responsibility for brandstrength, merchandising, inventory, and operational excellence, serving as the critical linkbetween the global brand vision and local market execution.Position OverviewYou must possess direct, recent offline buying experience specifically within Women's Private Label Brands. This expertise must cover the international/ luxury/ Women's western wear segments. Candidates without this exact background cannot be considered.Overall 16+ years of experience in Apparel Buying & Merchandising or Brand Management BackgroundResponsibilities:Responsible for Business Growth & Profitability (topline, bottom-line) for the portfolio including Inventory Planning, Assortment and directly managing the Buying and merchandising teams while working functionally with the global brand team and local Sourcing, Design, Planning, Business Finance and Marketing teams.● Responsible to drive sales for the portfolio including● Revenue● Margins● Growth of categories● Working with Operations team of Offline and demand planning team for Online Sales● Range Planning (Assortment)● Product-Brand mapping● Product range planning for the category Planning● Effectively planning and forecasting in order to maximize profitability● Trend forecasts and implement sale plans● Financial analysis - Sales, Margin, Discount and Inventory related analysis● Option planning● OTB working along with the central planning team● Inventory Management● Planning for the inventory flow for entire category● Team Management● Leading a team of buyers to manage the Apparel buying● Supply Chain● Enabling an optimal supply chain ecosystem for the brand● Coordinating with all functional teams to ensure and deliver Business Growth & marginsQualifications & Experience● Experience in offline would be recommended.● Product Selection experience for majorly in Western Womenswear categories● Excellent with numbers and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.● Strong communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with Senior stakeholders,peers & juniors● Strong team building & team management skills.
