Req# 30032764The Automation Tester is responsible for driving process efficiency and innovation through the implementation of technologies and solutions. The candidate will lead a team of Automation Testers in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of automation software applications. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to understand requirements and improve the testing processes.Responsibilities :Lead and mentor a team of automation testers to deliver high-quality test coverage across projectsStrategically plan and implement automation frameworks and testing processesContinuously improve testing tools, scripts, and methodologies to enhance efficiencyDefine test strategies, organize test cases into reusable components, and challenge existing testing approaches with innovative solutionsOversee sprint testing activities and ensure alignment with delivery timelinesDrive the implementation and maintenance of automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, JMeter, and PostmanApply testing and QA methods to support Agile, CI/CD, DevOps & other hybrid approachesProduce the overall test delivery plan and define business test deliverable milestones, test tasks and activitiesAct as an escalator of risks and issues to ensure timely and clear communication, mitigation and resolutionQualifications :Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practicesExperience in testing scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilitiesMinimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing across various platforms, such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks, and preferably experience in Automation AnywhereProven leadership in managing test teams and delivering scalable automation solutionsExperience developing overall test strategy and plans for complex system implementations including a variety of technologies and design patternsExperience in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, E2E Testing and Acceptance Testing
