Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and professional Assistant Officer to join our Finance team.Based in Singapore and reporting to the Senior Executive Officer, the incumbent will carry out activities relating to finance, ensuring that finance functions are properly carried out.We recognize that each individual has a unique blend of skills. Whether your strength is in accounting or in financial reporting, we want to talk to you.What You'll DoYou will ensure accurate coding and entry of invoices into the financial system and maintain all bank account details, contact details, etc up to date.You will perform three-way reconciliation on the invoices received by suppliers and resolve discrepancies, liaise and co-ordinate with users & suppliers on outstanding payments and issues, and ensure accurate processing of payments according to payment cycle.You will extract claims report & perform monthly analysis, observe the trend of claims & investigate if there are any inconsistencies, and educate users on claims submission.You will do up relevant audit schedules after month-end closing, do cashflow forecast, submit withholding tax (WHT) promptly and assist with audit matters.You will evaluate companies' financial for tender scoring.Who You AreYou will need a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.You will need at least 3 years of working experience in accounting or finance.You should have proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).You should have a strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.You should have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.You should have effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.Experience in SAP is advantageous.BenefitsCompetitive salariesFlexi benefitsStaggered working hoursMedical insuranceLearning and development opportunitiesSingapore Pools welcomes you not for how you look, where you come from, or differences you may have.
