You will oversee all daily operational activities, driving efficiency and an exceptional experience for both our clients and our gig workers. This role requires a hands-on candidate who can streamline processes, and ensure our services consistently meet the high standards FastGig is known for.What You'll DoYour primary goal is to own the end-to-end lifecycle of the gig workforce while ensuring seamless operational fulfilment for our clients.Proactively source and recruit new gig workers to expand the talent pipeline, ensuring we always have the capacity to meet demand.Collaborate closely with the Ops Executives team to guarantee seamless deployment and fulfilment of all requests. You will act as a bridge between the team and the workforce to ensure coverage.Liaise with clients daily to deeply understand their needs, using those insights to better prepare, brief, and deploy gig workers for flawless execution.Take full ownership of the gig worker journey, overseeing scheduling, onboarding, and general welfare to ensure a high-quality experience.Develop and implement continuous training programs that upskill workers and improve service standards.Proactively identify strategies to build a stronger worker community and improve operational workflows, driving efficiency and satisfaction for all stakeholders.Who You AreYou are an experienced operations professional with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude, capable of balancing strategic process improvement with on-the-ground execution. You view yourself as a true partner to the Ops Executives, actively sharing information and supporting the team rather than just delegating.You have at least 3 years of experience in an Operations role, specifically within a gig platform (e.g., food delivery, ride-hailing, freelance marketplaces) or a similar fast-paced environment like logistics or F&B.You have proven experience building and managing communities, with a specific focus on gig workers. You understand their perspective and know how to build trust-based relationships.You have a track record of analysing existing processes (such as onboarding or deployment), identifying root causes of issues, and designing new workflows that save time and reduce errors.You are experienced in designing and delivering training materials to upskill the gig workers.You are adaptable across multiple platforms and eager to upskill on new software and tools.Your Mindset:You spot potential issues and fix them before they become problems.You possess strong influencing skills and can work peer-to-peer with Ops Executives as well as communicate clearly with senior management.You can manage multiple priorities; e.g client calls, scheduling, and strategy; without letting things fall through the cracks.Why Join Us:Join FastGig as a hands-on Operations Manager to directly oversee all daily operations, driving efficiency and ensuring an exceptional experience for both our clients and our gig workers community.
