Monee is a leading digital payments and financial services provider in Southeast Asia.Job Description:Play a key role in standardising accounting-related matters across regional insurance entities, including accounting policies, procedures, chart of accounts etc.Coordinate with stakeholders across different country finance teams to execute crucial alignment projects for insurance, such as process improvement and system implementationSeek excellence and continuous improvement through understanding business models, identifying potential finance & tax risks and proposing feasible solutions to the insurance businessContribute to the development of the Group’s insurance business by assisting in the rollout of new initiatives, with a view of the potential finance and accounting impactsOversee and guide country finance teams on month-end closing, accuracy of system data and any accounting related mattersAssist business through providing data, insights, and analytics to support the team in making the right data driven decisionsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or related fields, or other related professional qualification in accounting, such as the ACCA and ISCA.Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in general insurance or life insurance business and/or in Big 4 external audit of insurance clients are desiredStrong accounting knowledge, particularly in the context of insurance businessGood understanding of IFRS and US GAAP, with specific focus on IFRS 4 and 17Experience in IFRS 17 implementation and/or IFRS 17-related reporting would be an added advantageStrong project management skills and high-quality successful project delivery experiencesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders from diverse backgroundsA team player with strong logical and analytical thinking skills and attention to detail and accuracyEnjoys working in a fast-paced and demanding environment while delivering quality resultsProficient in Microsoft 365 tools, in particular Microsoft ExcelFlexible and bright personality, open to commit in a dynamic environmentSea is an Accredited Training Organization for the Singapore CA Qualification, a Recognized Employer Partner of CPA Australia, and an Authorised Training Employer of ICAEW.
