Assistant Pattern Manager

Responsibilities:Set and manage JSS pattern approval priorities for the team based on delivery timelines.Track JSS pattern approval status across all SBUs and escalate or intervene as needed to keep schedules on track.Confirm approved JSS patterns meet project and technical requirements, including standards for the “Mitered Corners” project.Perform quality checks by conducting random audits of approved JSS patterns.Partner with the US pattern team to resolve block discrepancies and PDM-related issues.Provide day-to-day technical support and coaching to team members as needed.Other Duties:Use NGC information to plan and balance team workloads.Convert and upload all US block patterns to shared drives on a daily basis.Upload and email Fit & Finished proto patterns to the US for approval daily.Coordinate with cross-functional partners (US, ShunDe and Bangladesh Development Centres) to resolve discrepancies across proto and JSS patterns, PDMs and tech packs.Pull NGC updates every two days and share key information with the team.Monitor on-hand JSS approval status and provide hands-on support to remove bottlenecks.Support JSS pattern approvals during peak seasons to ensure timely delivery.Maintain accurate records of JSS pattern submissions and approvals.Provide skills training and coaching for bulk makers, as needed (including those requiring re-qualification).WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:Qualifications include (but are not limited to):Over 10 years of experience in the garment industry, with solid technical expertise in garment construction and knowledge of production processes.Strong proficiency in AccuMark (Gerber) and practical working knowledge of Lectra systems.Proven capability in garment fitting and pattern evaluation.Demonstrated people leadership skills, with experience leading and supporting teams across multiple brands and regional requirements.Effective team player with the ability to follow company policies, work cross-functionally, and collaborate effectively.Fluent in English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate clearly with regional and international stakeholders.ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Degree Held: Graduate from reputed University
