Join us as we empower tomorrow’s world at work.About The OpportunityThe Assistant Program Manager will provide project and program management support for various strategic projects, programs and initiatives in the United States and Canada. This includes regional projects and initiatives supporting the Facilities and Operations team. This position will help drive, consult and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives on behalf of Buildings Operations. This role will serve as a critical organizing element to each project team by managing deadlines, ensuring all functions have what they need to achieve goals, driving change to ensure the initiative’s success, and reporting successes and learnings to executives.ObjectiveThe Assistant Program Manager will ensure success through supporting program/project management, process standardization, prioritization, planning, execution monitoring, risk management and communications.The Assistant Program Manager will travel as needed within the region.Responsibilities Include But Will Not Be Limited ToLead and organize cross-functional teams to deliver business value on time and to consistently high levels of qualityBuild detailed, integrated project and program plansCommunicate with customers, stakeholders, and team leadership at all levels of the organizationEstablish and manage program Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and report these measures to business stakeholdersContribute to program and project strategy by proposing solutions which enable effective project implementation and deliver across the organizationFacilitate stakeholder meetings to provide project updates, present ideas, obtain feedback, and drive consensusCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify success criteria and research project requirementsWith guidance from program leaders, establish and execute project plans to set the approach, processes, KPIs, communication framework, and milestonesProactively identify, communicate, and manage project risksEnsure use of standardized/efficient processes, Agile systems, playbooks, metrics, change management and common languageAssist in driving consistency across project methodologies and approachesSimultaneously manage multiple projectsHold vendors contributing to projects / programs accountable for assigned deliverables About YouExperience and Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree3-5 years of experience in project/program management or equivalent management experienceConsulting experience a plusUnderstanding of Facilities Management and Operations a plus Highly proficient in Google Suite - a spreadsheet and deck-building expertDemonstrated project management experience, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal presentation skills as core requirementsAbility to work both independently and interdependently with a diverse range of leaders, including executive, mid-management and front-line leaders, in both remote and face-to-face environmentsAbility to manage projects in a fast-paced environment, work with a high level of professional maturity, and aptitude for navigating large, ambiguous and matrixed organizationsExperience clearly and concisely synthesizing and reporting on complex and diverse programs for a diverse group of audiences; experience in creating executive presentations preferredExcellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.Demonstrate high amount of empathy, integrity, dependability, responsibility and accountabilityCompensation & BenefitsBase Pay: $85,000 to $120,000 annuallyIncentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment.
