The organization is known for a team- and family-oriented culture built on quality, safety, and dedication.Role SummaryThe Assistant Project Manager (APM) provides critical administrative and operational support to Senior Project Managers, ensuring smooth project execution from pre-construction through close-out. This role is responsible for maintaining organized workflows, coordinating documentation, supporting field activities, and facilitating clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Administration & CoordinationSupport Senior Project Managers with project planning and scheduling.Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including organizing documentation, distributing drawings, and archiving project files.Maintain and update project logs for RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedules with accuracy and timeliness.Documentation & Submittal ManagementTrack submittals from initial submission through approval and distribute to relevant stakeholders.Support the RFI and Change Order process by maintaining accurate logs and communicating project cost or schedule impacts.Ensure all documentation is properly filed and easily accessible throughout the project lifecycle.Quality Control & SafetyPartner with field teams and Superintendents to help uphold strict quality control standards.Support compliance with safety requirements at the federal, state, local, and client levels.Assist in implementing best practices to promote a safe and efficient jobsite environment.Pre-Construction & Close-Out SupportAid in reviewing initial project documents and drawings.Assist with gathering quotations and pre-construction coordination tasks, including LEED or specialized requirements when applicable.Support project close-out by organizing and delivering documentation packages, including MSDS, warranties, and manuals, for client handover.Client & Stakeholder CommunicationCoordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to distribute project updates, drawings, and revisions.Help ensure consistent communication and documentation flow across all phases of the project.Provide support to maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.Qualifications1–3 years of experience in commercial construction coordination or as an Assistant Project Manager preferred; strong administrative backgrounds considered.Familiarity with project management software and tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.Proactive, resourceful, and eager to contribute to a safety- and quality-focused construction environment.,
