We are recruiting to fill the position below for our client, a leading global professional Institute.Job Title: Assistant Registrar / Business ManagerLocation: Apapa, LagosEmployment Type: Full-timeIndustry: Professional Institute Job SummaryWe seek to recruit a smart, intelligent, and self-motivated Assistant Registrar / Business Manager whose main duties include Membership Management, Partnership Development, Business Support, and Events Coordination. She will support the Institute and the Office of the Registrar, working closely with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives, strengthen membership engagement, and enhance the Institute’s visibility.ResponsibilitiesCore Administrative & Membership FunctionsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent proposal writing and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal and human relations skillsManage membership acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retentionCapacity to generate bulk membership and patronage from tertiary institutions, corporate organizations, government institutions, etc.Business Manager Support ResponsibilitiesSupport senior management in implementing strategic goalsAttend meetings, conferences, and official visits to secure collaborations and partnerships with: • Tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics, colleges etc • Corporate organizations across multiple sectors • Government ministries, departments, and agencies • NGOs, development organizations, and international bodies • Professional associations and industry networksRepresent the Institute professionally in partnership discussions, membership drives, and stakeholder engagementsAssist in coordinating membership-driven programs, trainings, certifications, and leadership development initiativesDrive revenue-supporting activities such as membership expansion, training participation, and event sponsorshipPrepare proposals, presentations, partnership documents, reports, and business briefs for the RegistrarSupport planning and coordination of conferences, seminars, workshops, summits, and corporate eventsMaintain strong communication with stakeholders and follow up on partnership commitmentsConduct outreach to grow the Institute’s presence in academic institutions and corporate marketsMonitor industry, economic, and leadership development trends to identify opportunities beneficial to the InstituteEnsure efficient support functions that enhance the Institute’s service delivery and stakeholder satisfactionDigital, Marketing & External RelationsPractical knowledge of digital marketing, and social media managementPromote the Institute across digital and physical platformsAbility to interpret economic and business trends and apply insights for institutional benefitAbility to initiate and develop new accounts both locally and internationallyEffective negotiation and communication skillsStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship managementPersonal AttributesConfidence and poiseVersatile, diligent, with a high level of integritySelf-motivated, proactive, and a goal-getterExperience5–8 years of experience working in tertiary institutions, professional bodies, management consulting firms, or related sectors.RequirementsA good First Degree from a recognized university/polytechnicProfessional certification or postgraduate degree is an added advantageSalaryNGN 400,000 Monthly (Net)Send CV to: merigagerecruitment@gmail.com
