Assistant Strategic Planning Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Policy - Develop departmental and company-level strategies to achieve overall objectives (direction, goals, KPIs, and action plans). - Analyze the market, competitors, and logistics industry trends; conduct internal surveys to identify opportunities and risks. - Develop, update, and operate sales policies, sales quota systems, and business incentive programs. - Proactively propose improvements to sales processes, contract terms, appendices, and debt management based on customer segments or markets. - Ensure all sales activities comply with legal regulations and internal company policies. Contract Process Management - Approve, control, and guide the implementation of contract templates, appendices, and commercial terms for each case. - Serve as the focal point to review and assess the validity of signing requests from Sales and regional teams. Cross-Department Coordination - Act as the liaison among Sales, Tech, R&D, and Accounting departments to handle interdepartmental requests related to pricing policies, debts, products, and technical conditions. - Resolve overlapping, escalated, or cross-functional issues beyond the regular scope of the SSD department. Performance Monitoring & Analysis - Develop and manage sales and operational reports to consolidate data supporting management decision-making. - Analyze revenue variances, policy deviations, and market feedback to propose strategic adjustments. Compliance Control - Establish control and alert systems for departments/regions that fail to comply with contract procedures, reporting, or order processing regulations. - Hold the authority to reject cases that violate procedures or lack proper authorization. Required Competencies Technical Skills - Strong understanding of B2B/B2C sales processes and commercial policies. - Proficiency in operational data analysis and business reporting (data-driven mindset). - Knowledge of legal regulations related to contracts and commerce. - Skilled in drafting, analyzing, and improving processes. Soft Skills - Excellent interdepartmental coordination and communication. - Quick and accurate decision-making under high-pressure conditions. - Professional conflict management and resolution skills. - Systematic thinking with a clear strategic orientation. Experience Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Sales Supervisor, Strategic Operations Manager, or Team Leader). - Prefer candidates with experience in fast-growing, cross-functional environments with frequent process changes. Authority - Authorized to reject invalid, non-compliant, or incomplete requests. - Empowered to propose internal regulations, sales policies, and approve company-wide contract templates. - Holds official decision-making authority with Tech, R&D, Sales, and Accounting departments regarding contract and sales policy operations.
