Distribution Resource Planner & Detailed Production Scheduler

Job Description

Key Responsibilities (Distribution Resource Planner)Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of Crop Protection products across warehouses, ensuring availability to meet customer demand.Commercial Coordination: Collaborate with demand, sales, marketing, and production teams to meet the forecasted demand and align distribution resources accordingly.Distribution Network Optimization: Analyze and improve distribution routes, methods, and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.Data Analysis: Use data analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, track product movement, and identify potential areas for process improvement.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all distribution activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies, especially concerning the handling of agrochemical products.Problem Solving: Address any disruptions or inefficiencies in the supply chain, implementing swift corrective actions.Reporting: Generate regular reports on distribution performance, inventory levels, and other relevant KPIs for senior management.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all distribution activities comply with local and international regulations, especially those related to agrochemical products.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in distribution planning, logistics, and resource management.Key Responsibilities (Detailed Production Scheduler)Executes the supply chain work based on the objectives established for service, cost, and investment.Run the monthly tactical planning process (current year + one-year view).Coordinate with third-party (External Manufacturing) sites for campaign planning based on available capacity.Work with operations team to ensure clear EM strategyRelease Purchase Orders for packaging materials, coordinate with suppliers for packaging material availability, confirm production plans, follow-up for supply schedules with EM sitesConduct ERP transactions for production posting, inventory movements and GI/GR for EM sites.Continuously improve inventory management and replenishment plan, while meeting the delivery performance goals.Responsible for FINI, bulk & packaging material inventory accuracy @ EM. Support inventory count whenever necessary & take actions on discrepancies.Responsible for representing the risks associated with the supply chain plans and their options and contingencies to mitigate them for all EM locations.Work as a bridge between Corteva teams & EM partners to resolve any issues.Support new product launch activities at EM site.Support new packaging development by working with local suppliers with the guidance of packaging engineer & procurement.Leads improvement activities in all aspects of the supply chain to simplify where possible.RequirementsEducationBS/BA/BCom degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, Technical fieldExperiences6-8 years of experience in distribution planning, detailed production scheduling or supply chain management, preferably within the agrochemical or related industries.Experience with ERP systems, Supply chain SystemsStrong knowledge in MRP II / IBP / ERP technology and Supply Chain systemsSkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and project management abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.Strong communication (English & Vietnamese) and collaboration skills.KnowledgeUnderstanding of agrochemical products and distribution challenges is a plus.Experience in manufacturing industry will be preferred.PreferredSAP/ECC/APO/SCM7/BW systemSix Sigma Green / Black Belt / Lean PractitionerProject Management Skills
