You will provide advanced executive support to the Dean, managing complex schedules, coordinating meetings and events, and ensuring seamless preparation for all engagements. Being a trusted partner to the Dean and the Strategic Advisor to the Dean, you will oversee time-sensitive communications, correspondence, and records management; and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to deliver briefings, agendas, and event logistics. You will coordinate travel and related expenses, responds to inquiries from a wide range of stakeholders, and contributes to high-level projects, priorities, and crisis response protocols, playing an important role in supporting the Dean's leadership and advancing the school's mission.Who We AreThe School of Information is a progressive, interdisciplinary professional school that offers five academic programs. Benefits include:Generous time off (Vacation, Holidays, Season Days, Family Leave)A retirement plan that provides two-for-one matching contributions after 12 months of eligible service, with immediate vestingMany choices for comprehensive health insuranceDental and vision insuranceLife insuranceLong-term disability coverageFlexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care expensesTuition support programResponsibilities*Provide confidential executive support to the Dean, including complex calendar management, meeting preparation, and prioritization of requests.Draft and manage communications and correspondence on behalf of the Dean, ensuring timely, professional stakeholder engagement.Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and speaking engagements, collaborating with internal partners to ensure smooth execution and visitor support.Arrange travel and process related reimbursements in alignment with university policies.Contribute to efficient, service-oriented operations of the Dean's Office through proactive collaboration, administrative support, and timely follow-through on priorities.Please see the link here for the full job description and responsibilities.Required Qualifications*Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 5+ years of progressively responsible executive-level administrative support, ideally in an academic or similarly complex organization.Demonstrated experience managing confidential and sensitive information, with examples of sound judgment and maintaining professional boundaries.Documented success coordinating complex calendars and juggling multiple competing deadlines, including examples of reorganizing schedules, prioritizing requests, and delivering on time in fast-paced environments.Proven ability to draft, edit, and format written communications (emails, agendas, talking points, briefings) and interact effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), and collaboration tools (Zoom, shared drives), with demonstrated ability to learn new systems (travel, reimbursements, records management).Modes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.This is a hybrid position. You will be expected to work four (4) days in the office. This may be adjusted depending on the Dean's schedule or the needs of the Dean's Office team. You may be required to travel to multiple locations on and off campus. The main office workspace for this position is located in the Leinweber Computer Science and Information Building on North Campus. Punctual and regular attendance is required. You may be required to work during non-business hours and on weekends, depending on the requirements of your position.Additional InformationVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.Salary Information The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $85,000. Salary is determined by direct relevant experience and demonstrated past performance results, while ensuring equity on our team.
