Atmosphere Core Atmosphere Core is a dynamic international hospitality company with three distinctive lifestyle brands — THE OZEN COLLECTION, COLOURS OF OBLU, and Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts.The company currently operates nine resorts in the Maldives and continues to expand with a strong development pipeline across the Maldives, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Nepal. Each property is defined by distinctive design, an authentic sense of place, and exceptional service experiences.Assistant Vice President – CommunicationsThis role will be responsible for building and protecting brand reputation, driving integrated communications strategies, and managing all internal and external communication initiatives across Atmosphere Core. This role plays a critical leadership function in shaping brand voice, managing public relations, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across multiple platforms and propertiesKey ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategiesDrive brand positioning through structured and high-impact communication initiatives.Design and implement integrated internal and external communication plans aligned with corporate brand objectives.Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify communication opportunities, risks, and reputation management priorities.Manage and mentor a high-performing communications team while fostering a collaborative culture.Build and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.Oversee content creation for digital platforms, social media, websites, press releases, newsletters, and corporate publications.Lead crisis communication planning and execution to safeguard brand reputation.Strengthen internal communication frameworks to enhance employee engagement and alignment.Manage external PR agency partnerships to maximize media exposure and brand visibility.Identify and manage sponsorships, brand partnerships, and commercial affiliations.Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to continuously improve communication effectiveness.Track market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to guide brand strategy evolution.Manage departmental budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.Key Requirement Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate communications, brand management, or public relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven expertise in strategic communication planning, media relations, and brand reputation management.Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional and multi-property teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling ability.High level of analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and crisis management capability.Strong understanding of digital platforms, media technologies, and communication tools.Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.Hospitality or luxury brand experience will be an added advantage.Interested candidates may share their CV at careers@atmospherehotelsandresorts.comOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
