Essential Job FunctionsCoaching & Player Development:Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and executing daily practices, focusing on skill development, team tactics, and physical conditioning.Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction to enhance player performance.Help with in-game coaching, strategy adjustments, and substitutions.Foster a positive and competitive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, and a strong work ethic.RecruitingIdentify and evaluate prospective student-athletes who meet the academic and athletic standards of AIC.Assist with communication and correspondence with recruits, their families, and high school/club coaches.Attend recruiting events, tournaments, and showcases as assigned.Administrative & Program SupportAssist with travel logistics, including transportation, meals, and lodging for away games.Support the Head Coach with team operations, including equipment inventory, uniform distribution, and scheduling.Assist with video analysis of games and practices using platforms like Hudl or other relevant software.Help ensure the program's compliance with NCAA, Northeast-10 Conference, and institutional rules and regulations.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree required.Experience: Previous coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesStrong knowledge of women's soccer rules, techniques, and strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, faculty, staff, and the public.Proficiency with technology and video analysis tools.Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.AIC reserves the right to fill this position at a level above or below the level included in this posting.AIC is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Review of applications will continue until the position has been filled.This is a full-time position based on the needs of the team and scheduled events and practices.
