ApplyJob TypeFull-timeDescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in GA judicial residential foreclosure. This position includes but is not limited to making appearances in state and federal court for routine and uncontested hearings.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage case load of GA judicial foreclosure matters on behalf of residential and commercial mortgage lenders and investors.Appear in court and argue motions and appear at trials necessary to the successful completion of both routine and contested foreclosure, eviction, title curative/ title disputes, HOA/COA issues and other matters. Communicate with clients regularly for updates and case resolution.Analyze loan files, title reports and other client documents. Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses. Prepare for and attend trials.Legal research and writing are required.Education & Work ExperienceJ.D. degree, licensed in Georgia and in good standing with the Georgia Bar Minimum 2 years motion practice experienceMinimum 2 years courtroom experienceKnowledge of Georgia Mortgage Foreclosure LawKnowledge of Georgia Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court RulesPrevious experience with foreclosures involving residential and commercial propertyKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesEffectively manage time and prioritiesStrong writing skillsAbility to effectively communicate written and oralAbility to work independently or in a group/team settingAbility to maintain high level of professionalismAbility to interact and communicate well with clients, staff, peers and management of all levelsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
