Associate Director - Captive Management

Your new company A leading provider of captive and insurance management services with a strong presence in Ireland and a global network supporting over 1,300 insurance entities. The organisation promotes an inclusive culture and supports flexible and hybrid working.Your new role You will join the captive management division as an Associate Director Captive Management either on a 12-month fixed term contract or permanent capacity. The position offers cross functional exposure across finance, underwriting, claims, compliance and risk management. In this role, you will act as Client Relationship Lead for a portfolio of captive insurance and reinsurance clients while contributing to the Senior Leadership Team.Key responsibilities include: • Leading a client service team of five to seven colleagues to deliver captive management and advisory services • Coordinating insurance, claims, financial and regulatory reporting requirements • Preparing reports and presenting to client Boards • Managing client projects and initiatives through to completion • Identifying opportunities to enhance client service and support revenue growth • Contributing to leadership activities including talent development, resource planning, systems improvements and team performanceWhat you’ll need to succeed • Strong client service skills • A relevant professional qualification in Accounting, Insurance or Risk Management • At least eight years post qualified experience within or supporting a regulated insurance, reinsurance or captive insurance company • Knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory and compliance requirements for insurance entities • Understanding of risk finance principles • Strong communication and problem solving skills • Experience developing and leading teams • Commercial awarenessWhat you’ll get in return The organisation offers flexible working arrangements, wellbeing initiatives, and access to learning and development resources.
