This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.In this senior leadership role, you will work closely with the Commercial Director to achieve set out strategies. Act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and delivered on time and to the required quality standards.ResponsibilitiesAdvise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing cost advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectivesDevelop cost plans and contract documentation including budgetary estimates, bills of quantities and cost optional studies.Demonstrated experience across all aspects of cost management on a range of projects from feasibility studies to final account close-outPrepare tender documentation, evaluate, and prepare tender reports, review contractor valuations and other relevant documentation.Motivate team members, and drive towards positive client outcomes and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environmentCritically analyse, challenge and brainstorm project requirements and deliverables, in order to find creative solutions and alternatives on behalf of clientsTo take line management responsibility as required and advise upon the procurement of resourcesManage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communicationsEnsure the production of formal project progress and other reportsTake a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stagesTake responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clientsQualificationsMinimum 12 years of experience in construction consulting related to cost engineering, with a professional RICS qualificationExperience managing large-scale or international commercial development projectsProven team management experienceStrong communication skills - fluent in EnglishAdditional InformationTurner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
