We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Tech fans are passionate about their support of their beloved Yellow Jackets and cherish the many traditions involved with the program.Job SummaryResponsible for the oversight of areas of event operations and athletic facilities. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Staff of various units, coaches, campus partners and external partnersThis position typically will advise and counsel: Campus and external partners.This position will supervise: NAResponsibilitiesJob Duty 1 - Serve as primary event manager for assigned sports, and provide assistance for other team members as needed.Job Duty 2 - Oversee parking and transportation for assigned sports.Job Duty 3 - Coordinate and distribute all event credentials.Job Duty 4 - Manage building scheduling and maintenance for assigned facilities.Job Duty 5 - Assist with all National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championships hosted by GT Athletics.Job Duty 6 - Oversee assigned operations and facilities budgets.Job Duty 7 - Oversee or work special events and rentals as assigned.Job Duty 8 - Manage special projects as assigned.Job Duty 9 - Partner to develop and execute contingency plans for emergency and severe weather scenarios.Job Duty 10 - Perform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsEducational RequirementsBachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experienceOther Required QualificationsValid State of Georgia Driver's LicenseRequired ExperienceThree years of job related experienceSkillsKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesThis job requires skills in Conflict Management, Service, Safety Awareness, Decision Making & Problem Solving, Quality Orientation, Adaptability, Collaboration and good written and verbal communication skills.USG Core ValuesThe University System of Georgia is comprised of our 26 institutions of higher education and learning as well as the System Office.
