As part of KPMG’s Infrastructure, Assets & Places group, our Commercial Advisory & Transactions team are industry leaders providing specialist transaction, commercial, and financial advice to support investment decisions for major infrastructure projects.Our work spans all major infrastructure sectors including transport, energy, social infrastructure (health, housing, education, justice, and community infrastructure), real estate and places, and water.Our team understands the challenges in delivering projects across the full project lifecycle, and we thrive on this complexity. We are a market leader, and we are advising on some of Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects.Job DescriptionYour OpportunityTo support continued infrastructure investment, we have opportunities for passionate infrastructure professionals to join our Commercial Advisory & Transactions team, with a particular priority on candidates who have experience in social infrastructure.You will play a key role working as part of a team in providing financial and commercial advice on major infrastructure and real estate projects across every stage of the asset lifecycle, from investment decision and business case, through procurement and transaction processes, throughout the delivery phase and into operations. Your Skills and ExperiencesYou will have recent experiences, preferably from the procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects across:Advising on transaction strategy or delivery model analysis.Developing commercial or financial advice to support clients with their planning, procurement, and delivery of infrastructure investments.Developing procurement process documentation, particularly for highly interactive, complex, and multi-phase (e.g., EOI, RFP) procurement processes.Management of interactive tender processes including transaction management services such as electronic data room management, RFI management, and evaluation phase coordination.Developing business cases and analysing procurement and delivery options for infrastructure delivery.Developing go-to-market transaction strategies and undertaking market sounding activities.Drafting and development of associated approvals documentation throughout procurement processes such as briefing papers, reports, memorandums.Stakeholder engagement with experience coordinating multidisciplinary inputs (e.g. (engineering/technical, legal, environmental, stakeholder, health, and safety) into various transaction, procurement, and commercial documentation.Development of commercial documentation to support construction contracts including commercial principles, commercial framework, term sheets, and commercial contract schedules with an ability to convey complex ideas into simple concepts.Leveraging specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in relevant infrastructure sectors (transport, energy, social infrastructure, defence and national security, real estate, or water).About youAt KPMG, we believe diversity of thought, background and experience strengthens relationships and delivers meaningful benefits to our people, our clients, and communities.
