This individual will be responsible for supporting operational excellence, driving clinical quality, enhancing patient and provider experience, and scaling innovative virtual care models. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare operations, project management, and digital healthcare delivery.Primary ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning and Business DevelopmentDevelop and execute strategic plans to drive virtual care adoption and growth Support the development and management of department budgets and projections Support the development of scalable virtual care models that align with organizational goals and patient needsServe as a thought leader and trusted advisor for clinical and operational teams to drive virtual care adoptionStay up-to-date and keep the organization informed on federal and state regulations and policies that impact the delivery of virtual care services Operations and Project ManagementOversee the operations of virtual health programs, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality care delivery.Support scheduling, staffing, and provider engagement efforts to meet service demands.Oversee the development and management of project plans, timelines, and communication strategies for new virtual health rollouts.Help manage vendor relationships, technology platforms, and partnerships supporting virtual care.Lead and support initiatives to expand access to care through innovative virtual programsCollaborate with clinical leadership to improve virtual workflows, training, and best practices. Marketing and ReportingDevelop, monitor, and analyze performance metrics (e.g., access, utilization, patient satisfaction) and identify areas for improvement.Develop strategies to enhance patient and provider engagement and adoption of virtual care services Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote virtual care services QualificationsBachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, or related field preferred; Master’s degree and Clinical Experience strongly preferred.5+ years of experience in healthcare operations or digital health, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role. Experience in establishing a telehealth service line is strongly preferredStrong understanding of telehealth regulations, workflows, and technology platforms.Familiarity with virtual care reimbursement models and limitationsExperience in process improvement, project management, and data-driven decision-making.Excellent written communication, presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to work collaboratively across clinical, technical, and operational teams.Experience with athenahealth EMR preferred The salary range for this role is $105,000.00 to $120,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units.
