Off the back of several recent project wins and a strong pipeline across the lower North Island, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated project professional to join our expanding Wellington team. This is a rare opportunity to influence the future direction of our Wellington office and play a leadership role in one of Aotearoa’s most respected client-side consultancies.In This Pivotal Role, You WillLead significant projects - drive the success of high-impact projects across a diverse range of sectors.Lead, mentor and develop talent - guide and inspire our talented team, fostering growth and excellence.Be active in business development, expanding our business and building strong client relationships.Collaborate with our wider TSA Riley team - connect with our nationwide and international team of project consultants to deliver exceptional outcomes and make a significant impact.Key Responsibilities IncludeLeading the delivery of complex capital works projects, acting as Project Director and Engineer to the Contract (EtC)Managing key stakeholder relationships and representing TSA at steering committee and PCG levelOverseeing procurement, contract administration (NZS3910, NZS3916), and project governanceMonitoring project budgets, risk, cost-to-completionLeading and promoting health & safety culture and complianceProviding leadership and mentorship to develop capability across the Wellington teamSupporting new business development and contributing to strategic regional growthAbout YouA relevant tertiary qualification in construction, architecture, or engineering15+ years’ experience in the New Zealand construction industry, with strong project delivery credentialsExperienced in either property or horizontal infrastructure or bothPrevious consultancy or client-side experience, ideally across multiple sectorsA demonstrated ability to maintain industry relationships and seek out opportunitiesProven people leadership capability and a genuine interest in leading, mentoring and developing othersYou may currently be in a Project Director role looking to step up to a new challengeExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — a trusted advisor to clientsThe ability to set priorities, manage complexity, and deliver results under pressureWhy choose TSA Riley?Your TSA Riley career promises personal growth, professional excellence, and a welcoming, inclusive workplace.Here's Why Joining TSA Riley Is a Great Choice We are a certified 'Great Place To Work': This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering a positive, fair, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.
