You will play an important role in building and refining Zenni’s website, driving technical innovations, and delivering unparalleled user experiences.Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, including clarifying technical requirements, evaluating potential solutions, implementing features, monitoring metrics, and continuously improving app performance.You will work with seniors in the team to take initiatives to introduce new features, tackle complex challenges. You are comfortable with a fast pace, and manage many concurrent efforts. You are familiar with e-commerce business. You can communicate effectively within the team & with your manager.Most of all, you love solving hard technical, product, and customer challenges to make a difference in the lives of other people.What you will be doing at ZenniBuild Zenni Website with user experience improvements and technical innovations. Explore technical solutions and implement them. Implement engineering metrics to measure engineering success and drive continuous improvementWork closely with product, design and QA teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, industry trends, and user behaviors to inform technical strategy and developmentThe ideal candidate would possessExperience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.2+ years of overall work experiencePrior experience developing e-commerce applications is preferred.Professional Experience: Strong TypeScript expertise with experience in strict mode configurationsProficiency in modern React patterns: Hooks, Context API, Custom Hooks architectureFamiliarity with Tailwind CSS/TanStack Query (React Query v5)Experience with Next.js 14 App Router and server-side rendering patternsFamiliarity with full-stack technologies such as Node.js, Java, or similar frameworks is a plus.Prior experience developing e-commerce applications is preferred.Competency in writing unit tests and end-to-end (E2E) tests (Vitest, Playwright, or Jest).Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
