Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Professor at the University of Duhok, located in Duhok Governorate, Iraq. The Associate Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, mentoring and advising students, conducting academic research, and contributing to the development of curricula. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental and university-wide committees, authoring publications, and fostering a collaborative academic environment. Qualifications Expertise in academic teaching, curriculum development, and student mentorshipStrong research background, including publication of academic papers and journalsProficiency in academic communication and lecture delivery skillsOrganizational and teamwork skills for effectively contributing to departmental and university initiativesAdvanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant fieldProficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Kurdish or Arabic is advantageousExperience in using academic technologies and digital tools for teaching and research purposes
