This role will be full-time, onsite. The candidate will work with other scientists on the team to design and optimize a wide range of cell-based assays, and implement them to evaluate hits from screens and drive lead optimization.The Core Responsibilities Of This Position AreIndependently develop and run cell-based assays specific to therapeutic targets of interestAdapt assays for medium to high-throughput screening of small molecule hits from our affinity screensAnalyze data and communicate resultsSupport the organization of the lab and equipment as neededExperience and Qualifications: Part of Terray’s success is nurtured by a hands-on work environment where everyone is accountable, vested in a vision of excellence, and actively taking part in the success of the business. Terray supports a positive work environment where employees can feel engaged, recognized, and empowered to be creative.Required QualificationsBSc with 5+ years or MSc with 3+ years of industry experience in the field of immunology, oncology, molecular biology, cell biology, or related fieldBackground in small-molecule drug discoveryExtensive hands-on experience with cell culture and cell-based assays, including reporter assays, gene expression, and ELISAsProficiency in primary cell isolation, differentiation, culture, and flow cytometryExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and can thrive in a highly collaborative research environmentDemonstrated technical proficiency, ability to troubleshoot to solve problems and to deliver high-quality data Preferred Qualifications:Background in molecular biology techniques, expression construct design, and reporter cell line generationExperience with automated liquid handling machineryCompensation Details: $85,000 - $122,000 (annually), depending on experience; participation in the Company's option plan; 3% retirement safe harbor contribution; fully-paid medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
