SummarySalary: Competitive Team: Treasury Location: China - Shanghai OfficeAbout The RoleReporting to the Assistant Treasurer – Cashflow and Regions, the Treasury Lead Analyst (Greater China) will be a key player in providing an effective and efficient day-to-day treasury operation for Dyson’s operations in Greater China, as well as owning and optimizing long term cashflow forecasting processes while working very closely with the business.The Lead Treasury Analyst will need to develop a good understanding of the business and upcoming plans in order to identify their impact, provide sound advice and drive the changes through business where required. The individual needs to be confident in engaging multiple stakeholder groups, managing banking relationships, effectively decode complex banking regulations in Greater China and driving actions through to completion.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but not limited to:Business PartneringLead monthly cash flow forecasting process for Greater China.Collaborate with respective teams to consolidate cash flow forecast data on a timely basis.Assist in the preparation, issuance and monitoring of bank guarantees.Manage existing banking relationships including regular catchups and pushing them for better service delivery.Cash & Liquidity ManagementManage the cash and funding for subsidiaries in China along with the local CNY cash pool and CNY cross border cash pool.Manage the cash and funding for subsidiaries in HK and Taiwan including CNH Cashpool structure in HK.Manage banking support required for opening of new stores in China –account opening, signatory update, account closures, approval matrix maintenance, treasury/local approvals, other applications (POS etc)Work on new entity setup, account opening and cash management.Prepare monthly FX hedging analysis.Monitor and coordinate intercompany payments process between various Dyson Entities.Manage and monitor contract manufacturing set up and cash management in China.Manage and monitor credit limits in China.Reporting and ComplianceChampion regulatory compliance with local regulatory requirements and stay updated on relevant banking changes.Preparation of monthly/adhoc treasury analysis, reports and presentations to senior management.Improvement ProjectsIdentification of areas for process automation or enhancement.Deliver treasury related improvement projects to enhance processes and efficiencies.Contribute to the development and implementation of new treasury tools and systems.Experience/technical SkillsDegree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or a related field.Analysts 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in large MNCs focusing on Asia.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Knowledge of SAP and treasury management system is a plus.Personal attributesAn energetic team player with strong leadership skills; hands-on approach to team managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in a global work environmentCapable of transitioning between an overview perspective and an in-depth examination of issuesDetail oriented with focus on achieving results; showcased initiative in addressing issues with a dynamic approach to creating efficienciesDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
