Job Description

The Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Office is seeking a self-motivated Assistant Officer to provide administrative support for the daily operations of the Recruitment and Outreach team, as well as other initiatives. This position reports directly to the Head of Student Recruitment and Outreach. Key Responsibilities: The appointee will play a crucial role in the following areas and perform other duties as assigned: Oversee the front desk and manage enquiries, responding promptly and professionally to all communications regarding undergraduate admissions via email, live chat, and other channels. Assist in developing and implementing an enquiries system.Maintain and update the website and contact list database.Provide administrative and operational support to the team, including but not limited to managing facility and venue bookings and coordinating logistics for events.Monitor materials stock levels and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely and smooth distribution of materials.Assist in organizing and providing logistical support for student recruitment events and activities.Assist the Head with various clerical tasks and facilitate effective coordination among team members.Perform any other tasks assigned by the Head. Working experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience in handling customer service and enquiry management experience is preferred. Duration: 2 years (Full-time) Part-time options will be considered, with a flexible schedule to be discussed. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
