We are now calling on brave and inspiring individuals to join us.Job Summary: We are seeking a Major Gifts Manager for Greenpeace Hong Kong. The role manages a portfolio of individual major donors and prospects and is responsible for growing long-term relationships and major gift income.Reporting to the Deputy Fundraising Director, and working close within the Greenpeace East Asian Philanthropy team, the Major Gifts Manager secures major gifts from individual donors and local foundations. The role is proactive and outward-facing, with frequent contact, meetings, and personal outreach. You develop and execute account plans to approach internal and external prospects, including High Net Worth Individuals within relevant networks and circles.The role works closely with internal stakeholders to align campaigns and organisational priorities with major donor opportunities. This includes developing donors from the mid-value segment into major donors and identifying new prospects through strategic prospecting.The Major Gifts Manager leads the full major donor cycle, from identification and qualification to solicitation and stewardship, and contributes to the growth of the individual major donor community for Greenpeace Hong Kong.Major work responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of 100 major donors and prospects.Engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors through in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and ongoing communication via email and messaging platforms.Use CRM systems (Salesforce and HubSpot) to proactively update, track, and manage donor and prospect relationships.Develop and deliver tailored events, and leverage existing events, to engage major donors both online and offline.Apply Moves Management and data-driven ranking to identify, prioritise, and develop major gift opportunities.Develop cases for support and work with programmes and senior staff to facilitate engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donor prospects and donors.Act as the main point of contact for major donors, listening to their perspectives and feedback while representing Greenpeace’s mission, priorities, and campaign strategy.Requirements: Advanced knowledge of portfolio management and relationship-based fundraisingAdvanced research and donor prospecting skillsHighly self-motivated and drivenFluency in written and spoken CantoneseWorking proficiency in English (full fluency not required)Strong communication and presentation skillsProficiency in budget management and expenditure monitoringFringe benefits:15 days of Annual Leave (increase of one day of annual leave each year starting from the third year of employment, with a maximum limit of 20 days)Medical & life insuranceWork from home policy3 years contract (with possibility to be renewed)How to apply:Submit your motivation letter, CV, current and expected salary, and availability by clicking Apply Now.
